Flea – bitten Grey Straight Egyptian Mare
Halimas Bint Nizr is a classic example of a dry desert arabian mare. She is structually correct, has large dark eyes, broad forehead and expansive nostrils. She is a bold mover with a great top line and superb tail carriage.
Halimas Bint Nizr is sired by Anaza El Nizr who was one of the most beautiful Egyptian stallions to be imported to Australia. Anaza El Nizr was sired by Ruminaja Ali, a US Reserve National Champion Stallion (among many other awards), and is out of the wonderful mare Bint Deena. Bint Deena was also the dam of Anaza El Farid, US National Top Ten and Supreme Exhibit at The Egyptian Event in Kentucky, Anaza Bay Shahh, one of the senior sires at Simeon Stud and Ibn El Mareekh, the best known son of the beautiful stallion El Mareekh. Anaza El Nizr was Australian Champion Stallion in 1995 and in turn sired an Australian Champion. There are very few straight Egyptian horses in Australia by Anaza El Nizr. Unfortunately Anaza El Nizr was exported to Germany and there he met an untimely death at a young age.
Halimas Bint Nizr is out of the imported mare, Haleekha. Haleekha was sired by Ibn El Mareekh by El Mareekh who was sired by the Sameh son, Aseel and was out of Bint Deena. Halimas Bint Nizr is therefore a double Bint Deena granddaughter.
Halimas Bint Nizr has had progeny exported to Bahrain.
